"For consulting you can start thinking logically regarding problems, take part in case studies and competitions, and try to hold some positions of responsibilities (PORs). What I feel about consulting role is that they want your real-life problem-solving skill at some critical instant. So, try building that. And obviously learning how to approach guesstimate questions, it will take 1-2 hours maximum. If you like thinking logically, use AI to get data insights, organize data points to get some structure, then obviously you are the right person to apply. But don’t expect that you will be building some model to analyse data and write C++ code to do something. You will be taught different skills to manage and analyse data. So, if you like to write code and are strongly motivated to join some SDE company then you may not like you. But if you are doing SDE as all are doing then you can obviously apply for Accenture."
