Round 1 - Aptitude
Round 2 - Technical
Duration: 45 minutes Number of questions: 15 (all multiple-choice) Topics Covered: Basic Electronics (like RC circuits)
SHM and fundamental Physics
Battery and Power systems
Engineering Mathematics
Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
Probability and Statistics
Advice: Most questions were based on core concepts you would have studied in JEE or first-year engineering. So a quick revision of those areas will be helpful. Some questions can be answered through elimination and logical reasoning, even if you are not completely sure of the answer. I personally solved the easier ones first and came back to the harder ones later, which helped manage time.
Round 3: Technical Interview
Last updated Oct 8, 2026
Duration: Around 60 to 70 minutes
Interview Structure:The interview began with a self-introduction, followed by a discussion on the projects mentioned in my resume. Then came around 7 to 8 technical questions. These were designed to test both your conceptual understanding and how you apply that knowledge practically. Focus Areas: Analog and digital signal concepts
Time period and waveform basics
Fundamental electronics
Mechanical design and reasoning
Application of mathematical concepts to real-world problems
Basic Programming logic
My Experience: This round was quite challenging and really tested how well I understood the fundamentals. For a few questions, I took a couple of minutes to think carefully before answering, and that was completely fine. The interviewers were more interested in seeing how I approached the problem rather than expecting an instant response, although arriving at the correct answer was still important. What mattered most was being able to logically break down the question, connect it to the relevant concepts, and explain my reasoning clearly. Taking this approach helped me stay calm, and it left a positive impression on the interviewers.
Advice: Be clear about your thought process. Explain how you would approach solving the problem and justify your method using technical knowledge. The interviewers appreciate creativity and clarity. In my case, they liked that I gave practical, out-of-the-box answers and was able to defend them logically.
