3 qs were asked and i solve them in around 1 hour Medim to eady qs
In the first round, there were 3 DSA questions, mostly ranging from medium to hard level.
The interview was conducted on HackerRank. The interviewer had around 5–6 problems available and opened them randomly, gradually increasing the difficulty. The questions were not standard LeetCode-style problems and were more focused on problem-solving and implementation.
The interviewer had already cleared the test cases at the beginning, so the expectation was to pass all the test cases during the interview to move forward to the next round.
The interviewer was quite helpful throughout the round. One question I remember was related to number theory. Initially, my solution passed 7/15 test cases. The interviewer and I then debugged the solution together. Since the overall approach was correct, we focused on identifying the issue.
After debugging, we found that the problem was due to integer overflow. We changed the relevant variables from int to long, after which the solution passed all the test cases.
After some time (~1 week), I received the on-site interview invitation for the Bangalore office.
The second round was a technical interview where they asked two questions. 1st question was stones placed on a grid with some conditions on rows and columns, where I had to write code and later optimize it. The second question was a standard binary search based problem, which was comparatively easier.
The third round was a mix of technical and HR. They discussed about projects and asked me to explain them. Along with that, they asked some general HR and hiring managerial questions like:
Why do you want to join the company?
Why should we hire you?
Have you done any group projects and what was your role in that?
