The Online Assessment was designed to evaluate candidates across multiple domains, including Computer Networks, Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Machine Learning fundamentals. The assessment consisted of: 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering: Computer Networks (TCP/IP, Routing, OSI Model, etc.) Core C++ concepts Basic Machine Learning fundamentals 2 Coding Problems One problem based on Segment Trees One problem based on Disjoint Set Union (DSU/Union-Find) 4 Subjective Questions Conceptual and implementation-based questions of relatively easy to moderate difficulty. The total duration of the assessment was 100 minutes. After the evaluation, approximately 75 candidates were shortlisted for the interview rounds.

The first interview was highly technical and focused on Data Structures, System Design concepts, and project discussions. The interview started with DSA-based implementation questions: Implement LRU (Least Recently Used) Cache Implement LFU (Least Frequently Used) Cache The interviewer was particularly interested in understanding the internal data structures, time complexities, and optimization techniques behind these implementations. After the DSA discussion, the focus shifted towards my projects. A significant portion of the interview revolved around: Generative AI applications LangGraph-based agent workflows LLM orchestration System architecture decisions Challenges faced during development and how they were resolved The interviewer went deep into the technical details and asked several follow-up questions to assess the depth of my understanding rather than surface-level knowledge. Towards the end, I was asked to design and implement a Rate Limiter, including discussion around: Different rate-limiting strategies Scalability considerations Real-world deployment scenarios Overall, this round tested both strong DSA fundamentals and practical software engineering skills. I successfully cleared this round.
The managerial round focused less on coding and more on problem-solving ability, communication skills, and decision-making. Topics covered included: Mental mathematics and quick analytical reasoning Personality-based questions Teamwork and collaboration scenarios Situational and behavioral questions Twisted/conflict-based workplace scenarios where I had to explain how I would handle difficult situations The discussion was interactive and aimed at evaluating cultural fit, leadership potential, and structured thinking. I cleared this round as well.
The HR round was relatively straightforward. Discussion points included: Career aspirations Interest in Cisco Preferred work location Compensation and joining-related discussions Employment policies and documentation The HR representative also explained the next steps in the hiring process and provided information regarding the offer process.
